In 2020 Randy Lung and Erik Carlson took their combined 40+ years of law enforcement and military experience and their passion for high drive working dogs to create Tier 5 Industries. Tier 5 Industries provides canine detection services for explosives, narcotics, and firearms. Utilizing properly trained and deployed canine teams is a reliable and cost-effective solution to the ever-increasing threats that venues, businesses, organizations, schools, and communities face.
We at Tier 5 Industries have one goal: to provide our clients with “Detection, Protection, and Peace of Mind.” Our canines are carefully selected for excellent temperament, confidence, physical qualities, and willingness to work. All of our canine teams are rigorously trained by law enforcement experts. They undergo frequent, high-quality odor detection training including new odors when necessary to keep up with changing crime and threat trends. All teams are certified on their respective odors annually by the International Police Canine Association.
Here at Tier 5 Industries, we believe that security measures only work when actually used proactively. A “that would never happen here” mindset can lead to unnecessary tragedy. Canine detection teams are effective at preventing incidents by both locating dangerous substances and by serving as a visual deterrent to those planning harm.
